ReefVault is built to be private. ReefVault has no servers, no accounts, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Your tanks, parameter readings, dosing and water-change events, tasks, livestock and equipment records, photos, expenses, and ICP results are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, they sync through your own private iCloud account so they are available on your other devices. We never receive, see, or have access to this data. You can export everything to CSV, or delete it, at any time from within the app.
Photos you attach to a livestock, coral, or equipment record are stored on your device (and, if enabled, your private iCloud) alongside the rest of your data. They are never uploaded to us and we have no access to them.
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled by Apple through your App Store account. ReefVault receives only the transaction status needed to unlock Pro features; we never see your payment details.
We do not collect personal information, we do not track you, we do not show ads, we do not use third-party analytics, and we do not sell or share any data. ReefVault does not require an account, an email address, or your date of birth.
ReefVault is rated for ages 4 and up and is not directed to children under 13 specifically; no personal information is collected from anyone regardless of age.
